Vietnam; the hidden gem
Ever heard of Vietnam? I am sure if you are a follower of American movies, you would have heard about a country called Vietnam - a country with small houses and tiny men who lives on trees and underground tunnels. Yes, I refreshed your memories! Those were good movies but what if i tell you that the country is not like that? In fact, it is dubbed as the hidden gem of Southeast Asia with its 3000km coastline and jungles in the Central Highlands. If you are a lover of backpacking like me, you could take a chance and visit the country- You might be arriving at Ho Chi Minh (the western capital) or Hanoi - the Capital, either way, with your international passport you could rent a motorcyle for as low as $200 and backpack your way down south ! You could do this in 15 days or 3 months, depending on what you will like to see. Do not forget to taste the Pho noddles soup and every other tasty foods on the road. The country is safe, cheap and the people are friendly, what are you waiting for? Bo
