Hope

Hope, a key; something we have all forget.....the nation is sinking, youths are drowning, the nation is burning, our youths are running. The ran, never to come back: what is the future of the nation? Our water, mothers  breast; our first food is laced with corruption, our thoughts is money.
Yorubas don't trust each other; everybody is playing smart. Igbos will rather steal than beg, hausas are dogmatic as ever.
Which way forward?
Our youths lost hope in working with their hands; they shut their heart and work with their brain.... Frauds! The hope of an average Nigerian. We lay abuses on bad governance, we claim the queen is inflicting pain on the subjects,. Have u seen the mirror today? Democracy starts with you......
Where is our hope? Where is the spirit of patriotism?
Let's move Nigeria forward.....

Corona thoughts

I do not know what to write........But i will try, take this as a journal. (not going to edit) For the past few months, the world has been in a panic mode; fear of death and exposure of our innate xenophobic mode. Over time, we have locked it in us, a stereotype of a particular group -our assumptions of behavior, attitude, life of a group of people or individual, not trusting their views or neutral to their plights. This does begs the question, Who am I? This is not a Jackie Chan movie, bear with me. The past few days, I have been in self-isolation, watching TV shows, keeping up with the news and reflecting on who I am, the people around me and they ones i have lost. Yesterday was my marooned day- mark it on your calendar, for it may be hard for my castaway mind to remember. The prime mover of my being marooned is simple; my mind was not in the same frequency as my fellows. My cogent arguments and eloquence could not save the life worth a loaded gun, jar of water and bread. In two days, the owner of this island will put a bullet into his brain to avoid the hunger games. To yesterday, I had found me a palm tree with shade and slept from dusk to dawn. The lullaby from my friends with wings made my first night memorable, my friend-mosquito came with his families, their songs and serving rate could not prevent my long night nap.
